Job Description:
The Kendallville Street Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver. Applicants must have a current and valid class B CDL license. Applicant must be able to operate heavy equipment and trucks with an automatic or manual transmission. This is a full-time position, with full employee benefits. Applicants must submit, either electronically or in person to the Clerk's Office, a completed application by 4:00 pm on March 31, 2026.
Benefits:
- Longevity pay (after first year) $100.00/year.
- 1 year of service completed: 5 vacation days.
- 2-5 years of service completed: 10 vacation days.
- 6-10 years of service completed: 15 vacation days.
- 11-15 years of service completed: 20 vacation days.
- 15 or more years of service completed: 25 vacation days.
- Holidays: 15 per year.
